There are many people who mistake food for fun eating and binging. However, the true purpose of food is to help make our bodies to function properly so that it remains energetic and healthy. If you are not already following the healthy eating routine, it is time to revisit your eating plan and bring some serious changes if you want to be fit.

Here are some good food habits that will easily help retain your lost health.

Never skip breakfast
Known as the most important meal of the day, if you eat breakfast religiously you can easily lose weight. A full breakfast can include eggs, wholegrain bread, cereals, muesli, fruits, yogurt etc. When you eat proper breakfast, it keeps you active throughout the day which is very important to plan other activities such as exercise and work schedules.

Get daily portion of fruits and vegetables
You must at least 3 cups of vegetables and 2 fruits on a daily basis. By following this simple routine, you will be able to meet pretty much all your nutrients requirements which is necessary for your well being.

Exercise everyday
If you do not exercise each day, all the food that you eat will be stored inside your body in the form of fat cells. This causes obesity and many such diseases associated directly with eating disorder and inactive lifestyle.

Always eat at the table
Do not munch while watching TV or reading a book. Always concentrate on the food that you are eating so that you are conscious about your portions. However, every once in a while you can enjoy the pleasure of dining with your friends and family.
Always keep a protein rich snack handy
This will meet your hunger pang needs while you are on the go.
